About Dr Varrall
Caroline Ruth Varrall is an orthopaedic surgeon, specialising in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr Varrall has worked as a consultant at Rockhampton Base Hospital since August 2018. She is originally from the UK, and graduated from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2006. Having completed her orthopeadic surgical training in the North East of England in 2017, she undertook fellowships in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Melbourne and Sydney.
Dr Varrall is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) and British Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS).
Dr Varrall has presented locally and internationally at conferences and had a number of journal articles published.
Dr Varrall lives in Rockhampton with her husband, daughter and son. In addition to fixing feet, she likes decorating cakes and playing sport!
